1. How to measure the Pinch Pleated curtains?
For Pinch Pleated curtains, the recommended curtain width is Rod or Track Width × Fullness (recommended 1.25×) ÷ Number of Panels.
Measure the curtain length from the eyelet ring where the hook attaches. If using curtain rings, measure from the bottom of the ring; if using a track, measure from the bottom of the track ring to the desired curtain length.

2. How to understand the width of pleated curtains?
For pleated curtains, the panel width is the width of the pleats that have already been set. By default, the fabric fullness is 1.7 times to create wrinkles and folds. The finished width of the curtains is the same as the width dimension of the order.
3. Should I consider how much fullness is for the pleated header style?
Yes. Since pleats are permanently sewn in, we recommend a fullness of 125%–150% for the best balance of structure and elegance. For example, if your rod or track is 100 inches wide, you can order two panels, each measuring 63–75 inches wide. If you prefer a richer, more luxurious look, you may choose a wider size for added fullness.
4. What is stacking width?
The curtain stack width refers to the amount of space that curtains occupy when they are fully drawn or pulled open to one side of the window or doorway. Joydeco curtain stack width varies for fabrics and headers, normally accounting for 20-30% of your ordered width.
5. Should I buy a pleated hook?
The package contains adjustable plastic hooks, and you can adjust the length of the curtains by adjusting the length of the hooks. You still need to purchase the rod ring separately.
6. What is a single panel curtain?
Single panel (or one-panel) curtains are just that — a window treatment that only hangs on one side of the door or window, not both sides.
7. Do velvet curtains block light well?
Yes, velvet curtains usually have good shading effect, with a shading degree of about 80% -90%. Due to its thick fabric and dense suede, it can effectively block most natural light, making it suitable for use in spaces such as bedrooms and audiovisual rooms that require darker environments.
8. Are they heavy and difficult to hang?
Not at all. Our velvet curtains are made from a specially selected lightweight fabric that retains the lush feel of velvet without being overly heavy. They are designed for easy installation and can be hung effortlessly using standard curtain rods or tracks.
9. How do I clean velvet curtains?
It can be hand washed or machine washed, and needs to be cleaned with water below 30 ℃ to avoid high temperature damage to the fibers. It is recommended to clean it every six months.
10. Are they good for sound insulation?
Yes, they are. Our velvet curtains offer good sound insulation. The dense, plush fabric helps absorb and dampen outside noise, contributing to a quieter and more peaceful indoor environment.
