Curtains Measuring Instruction

Getting the measurements right for your curtains couldn't be easier! No need to worry about deductions or calculations - we'll take care of all that for you, ensuring a perfect fit every time. Just follow our straightforward guide tailored to your type of track or pole, and leave the rest to us.

We have 4 kinds of hanging header styles:

  • Grommet

    It is the most popular choice for contemporary space.
  • Rod Pocket

    It is lined on top to create a clean tailored looking.
  • Back Tab

    It hidden tabs the back create clean looking and slide smoothy.
  • Pinch Pleated

    It creates a formal and elegant looking.

Step 1: Measure the Curtain Rod Width and Placement

For accuracy, measure your curtain track or pole's width, not the window. For a new installation, extend it 6-15 inches beyond each side and 6-10 inches above the window. If using a pole, measure between the finials.

Step 2: Calculate your curtain dimensions using the following guidelines

We usually recommend a fullness of 150%~200% for the best effect. For example, if rod or track length is 100 inches, you may order 2 panels each 100 inches width for 200% fullness.
