A while ago I bought an identical set of these from another brand for my French doors and they had no issues going up like this one does. It's not a huge deal though, just takes a little effort. This one also arrived with some minor scratches on the paint, also not a huge deal for me.

The install is very easy but a tab or hook for the bottom to be held in place would be a nice extra.

These definitely block out light effectively and they actually keep the cold out as well. I feel it through my brand new, energy efficient window as soon as I roll it up in the morning. Makes sense since the material feels pretty thick and of nice quality.

My biggest issue with this type of roller shade is there's no way to get it completely flush due to the brackets. There's an inch or so gap no matter which way you choose to mount it.

I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s the perfect and affordable curtain for my needs. I wanted something to hide the hoses behind my laundry area but still be able to pull it up easily when I need access, and this one fit perfectly in both size and installation. Happy of my purchase.

It was easy to hang. Does block off light but not completely black out due to the opening on the sides. I’ve had it for about a month and still looks great but it does not roll back up.

I went with this since it was much more affordable compared to the other options online and I'm glad I did.

It was very easy to install. I think the "L" shaped installation brackets that came with this are a better design than the straight brackets that came with a different brand of blinds I purchased in the past. It provides multiple installation options and you can even install them without much measurement work since they can be snugged up against any 90 degree angle and the blinds will be in the correct position.

Four out of five of the shades I ordered were fine. The fifth was missing the plastic handle to pull the shade up and down. The quality is good and the light gray is attractive. The valance cover is worth the extra money.

The spring loaded brackets made these super easy to install. We’ve come a long way with window shades, but the prices have increased along with the advancements.

I chose the discount color to save money and couldn't be happier. They are as advertised. I paired them with midrange blackout drapes with a wrap around rod to limit light for daytime sleeping. Very happy with purchase

Installed easily, like the look, they pull out and roll up smoothly but they won’t roll back in all the way. They came rolled up but after pulling them out once it always hangs down about 4” when rolled up as much as possible. Worth it as long as this doesn’t bother you.

They are decent and look good. The one opportunity is the “rollability.” If it’s not going up try winding the fabric tighter on the roller. We were needing to start the lifting by pulling up on the sides closer to the headrail. Im sure shorter windows ~48” would work as intended. We are keeping them and they are a good value blackout shade, but temper expectations or try adjusting the tension if you have taller windows.

So far, so good! I wish these had a higher quality look to them (ex: they wrinkle/get bumps very easily). I read that installing them only takes a few minutes but maybe they changed the design since. The brackets are not what is in the videos, they're slightly different - in a better way at least! I was prepared for the gap at the top which was going to be fine but I was not as ready for the gap in between blinds. It's not bad, just not perfect in my book. I got these for my craft room/den, so ultimately I'm fine with it. Fully blocks the sun in the afternoons which is exactly what I wanted!

Would recommend for a budget friendly option in a room that isn't a main room. Probably wouldn't recommend if you are looking for something nice/classy.

Pretty good and efficient window shade that we installed in the kitchen window. My only complaint is that the anchor system is weak.
