Simplify your shades measuring process with our easy-to-follow tips. Make sure your shades fit perfectly!Steps:

  1. Measure the width of the window frame.
  2. Measure the height from the top of the window frame to the sill or desired length.
  3. For inside-mount blinds, subtract a few millimeters for clearance.
  4. For outside-mount blinds, add extra width/height for full coverage.

The work well at blocking out all the light let in by closed blinds and curtains. They are built well and are made to go over existing wood blinds. Works so well we ended up using them on 4 different windows

Such a great value for the price. Similar ones I found online are triple the price of this one. It looks great when pulled down. I do wish the side view (the white plastic part) was a bit more aesthetically pleasing but for the price I can’t complain. It opens and closes smoothly and installation was pretty easy. It is a two person job to install, as it doesn’t stay together without being held, until screwed into something

I absolutely love these shades. I wanted something that was easy to clean, easy to install, and most importantly, something that was appealing to the eye. I measured the inner part of the window frame and it was a perfect fit. There is a very minute slither of light that you can see on the sides, but all in all it almost completely darkens the room. The shades will be good in cold weather to help with drafts and will also be good in warmer weather to help keep a room cooler by not allowing sunlight to penetrate through the shade. This was definitely a good purchase. I plan to buy more.

Easy to install, have sturdy steel brackets (not made of soft, easily bending aluminum, like some other shades on the market). And a strong cord for manual raising/lowering shades on these shades is much better than a roll-up spring, which can cause problems by being too powerful or not functioning correctly.

These shades are awesome. They keep out all the sunlight in the morning, making it much easier to sleep, if you have that opportunity occasionally. I’m going to buy another identical shade for another bedroom in my house. What’s really nice about them is that you can still put your pretty drapes over them and you hardly know they were there.

We have a bonus room on our house that has become a flex room- guest bed, video games, exercise equipment, storage, office all have a piece. The door is a full length windowed door (weird for guests), so this shade was the solution for guests. The color is gray with a hint of brown and the material feels cheap, but it seems like it should hold up okay for limited use.

Really easy to install. It looks clean and sleek. We installed these inside the window casings, so the width was important. At first I thought the shades were not wide enough, like by an inch, but with the roller hardware that goes on the sides at the top, it fit perfectly inside the window casing. There is a half inch on either side of the shade where you can see the window casing, but it still covers the window. You wouldn’t be able to get all the way to the edge of the window casing unless you went with a bigger width and placed it above the window (outside the casing). We’re very pleased how perfect it fit and the look is exactly what we wanted.
