It was an easy installation. Always make sure to predrill the screw holes to help screwing in the mounts easier. I had to use a pair of wire snips to help cut the chain to length. Scissors were not strong enough. My only complaint was that there was an exact number of screws. During installation I dropped a couple and could not find them quickly so I used a screw I already had in my toolkit.

Wish I’d thought of blackout blinds sooner! These are easy to install without help. Really keeps out the heat and sunlight. I purchased several for multiple rooms.

I decided to get these because we were experiencing a lot of heat coming into my house from my kitchen window. I had blinds in the kitchen and some light curtains which didn't seem to be keeping the heat out even though we kept it closed. When I saw these black out shades were on sale, I decided to try it out. Installation was super simple, measurements were perfect for covering my window and they keep my kitchen noticeably cooler. I am so glad I bought these. Hoping to eventually buy some more for my bathroom window if the right size becomes available. I am so glad I didn't have to go for a darker color just to keep the light out and the material is very thick and durable.

I didn’t want to pay for a custom shade so decided to try this one and cut it shorter since my window was only half the length of this one. It worked fine to trim and then reattach the bottom. I ended up buying an extension for the metal pull string because the window is high up toward the cathedral ceiling. It glides well. It darkens the room to pitch black and it keeps the room so much cooler (west facing windows). My room is grey-beige and the beige color is a perfect match

Blinds really made a difference in keeping the hot sun out in the afternoons. Made cooling the area much easier. Easy and quick installation.

Easy to install

This is very functional and does an excellent job blocking out the light (and extra heat from the sun coming through the window). However, the top of the roller is exposed and looks mechanical. It was easy to install and easy to use. The measurements were also as provided in the description.

I had 5 windows to cover. I had to order 8 of these (through returns/exchanges) to get all of the pieces. All but one of the boxes arrived open. Some of them contained all of the pieces. Most were missing something small. The shade was good and definitely has a good blackout quality. I like the look of them & they go well with my wall color. I installed them myself in a little over 5 minutes each. (I’d suggest not cutting the bead string if possible.) It was just frustrating to have to wait on replacements when only a few things were missing.

make sure to size it right. the shade blocks everything, so if there is space on the sides the sun will blaze through. So try to go right to the edges. The shade itself is one inch smaller than the size you buy. I had better luck buying much wider and installing on the outside of the window frame.

I got these for my home office windows as I'm on the second floor and they face west and the room bakes in the afternoon. Definitely keeps room much cooler. Haven't slept in here but it looks pretty dark at night so would probably work well for black out purposes The linen texture is nice.

The color was just as described, I love the material used to make the blind. I would definitely buy this blind again.

Let’s sunlight in. Big gap at tbe top. I kept two since they were already up but sent two back. Needs to be redesigned so there is not a big gap

works great blocks out sun light and heat. What more could you want a shade to do?

The prices of custom-sized blinds are approaching ridiculous levels, and I refuse to buy them simply out of principle. This blind came in fixed sizes, including 70x75. It was a bit too wide and a tad short for my French doors, but it was very usable (and looks just fine) and probably 5x less expensive than something similar with a custom size. Installation was relatively simple (using two people to place it in brackets). The brackets themselves look merely adequate for this wide and heaver blind. Another reviewer noted that brackets were sized too deep- and the blind sat too far from the window. In contrast, the brackets I received were sized appropriately, so I did not notice that issue. I'm assuming all available sizes likely use the same brackets. A heaver bracket with larger screws might hold up better, but I will have to wait and see. The fabric and pattern seem decent; however, there were a couple of pinpoint holes near the bottom. This damage likely did not occur during shipping, so their QC inspection process needs improvement. The smoothness of the mechanism is good but not up to par with some other roller blinds I have. However, it is entirely functional and easy to operate. This blind came with a metal chain (not plastic, as some other reviewers have noted). Regarding the cost, I think it's a very good value, and I'm glad I didn't spend hundreds on a custom-sized over-priced roller blind.

It works okay but was a little disappointed it did not work as well as I was expecting.

This shade fits great and provides privacy as needed. I replaced a mini blind with this because the mini blind kept breaking. We shall see how this stands up.
