Bleach Joydeco Custom Blackout Roman Shades

Other than trying really hard to get it hung on the hardware, it was an easy install. Beautiful, quality shade! Im going to order two more!

I bought one of these for my kitchen to block glare from the kitchen window onto the tv in adjoining room. I love the color and they really do block a lot of light. I enjoy that a single, light tug causes it to retract on it's own and in my space it hides behind the valance and disappears out of sight. I liked it so well I bought one for the adjoining breakfast nook area. Don't hesitate; these are great! Be sure to carefully measure the internal size of your window frame to determine the right size, unless you plan to mount over the frame.

These blinds are lightweight, well made. The brackets are very clever, there is a spring that keeps the metal tab extended and to mount the blinds, you need to push the top rail against the bracket and position the blinds such that the tab catches onto the ridge on the top rail. Installation is easy, as well as the operation. There is very little force required to pull the blinds up or down.
The fabric is thick and soft, which may cause it to fold or crease unevenly, this is probably what other reviewers complained about, but it does not bother me. It looks nice and works as intended.

Easy to install and look great

Installation took longer than I expected but not difficult. I mismeasured and had to mount over my window and they’re not wide enough but they still block a considerable amount of light and I can tell they insulate against the cold which works well for my old windows. Pulls down way easier than expected so that’s nice.

Love the blind, but missing the hardware when it was delivered! Please help!

Loved the color and the ease of opening and closing except it was to hard to reach to pull down . We fixed that by putting a braided brown rawhide string and it not only looks classy it works like a charm !

We are keeping them, we opened them wrong!

I'm very disappointed that I bought it two months ago, and suddenly, it doesn't want to roll up anymore. I'm stuck with the curtain all the way down (extended all the way through). I asked for customer service. To be continued.

Very nice quality. Moves smoothly. Love the Cordless. I actually need 6 more but have to purchase in increments. Wish it came in 72 inch but since we never pull them all the way down I guess it's no big deal.

I purchased four of these for my sons’ rooms. They do a good job blocking the light in their east facing windows, but the seams are perforated and let in a lot of light there. I knew that was a possibility from previous reviews and purchased anyway because I just wanted my kids to be able to sleep later, but not sleep the entire morning away. I got these for a good price and I feel the price was appropriate for the quality. Installation was easy (I did an outside mount). They do rise unevenly sometimes, but that may be due to the operators. We are several months in, and they have survived unscathed being manhandled by a 12 y/o and 7 y/o boy. One thing that is odd is one of the four shades is able to slide out of place down the track and I have to slide it back into place. This probably wouldn’t happen with an inside mount though. This is no way a criticism of the shade itself, but if you are considering this for someone under 5 feet, he/she may not be able to reach the blind to pull it back down. I probably would have gone with a different shade for my 7 y/o if I had thought about having to pull them back down for him every time. The kids and I are all happy with the shades and I only knocked off one star due to the seams.

Installed in less than 15 minutes. Works very smoothly. Matches perfectly with shower curtain. Complete darkening of the bathroom. Easily pulls down and stays in place

We needed Roman shades to replace several that were destroyed by our anxious dog. These are great easy up and down, bonus no cords. Great for houses with kids. We’ve gotten several complements and people think they were much more expensive than they were.

Can you please send me the bracket to hang shade. Still waiting for a bracket. I filed for a return but want to send it back I just want the bracket.

These looked sooo bad in some reviews but I decided to give them a shot since they were so inexpensive. We have a window unit in our bedroom to keep it extra chilly when we sleep and I was tired of tucking the curtains around it and wanted to look for a better solution. These are super blackout outside . 10/10 would look even better if I gave them a quick steam.

Added a pop of color to my bedroom. Blocked out the light since the sun shines directly in during the morning. Just realized it’s been two years since we purchased and very impressed.

These blinds are ok. You can see light come through the holes from the stitching. They dont feel like fabric to me, there rough and feel like thick paper. They do keep the light out for the most part and roll up and down nicely.

I bought 3 of these. As soon as I saw the screws that come with it, I knew they wouldn't be able to punch through my metal door, so I used my own self-drilling screws. The first installation was the hardest, the instructions are not super clear and not particularly intuitive. But once I got the hang of it, installing the other two was much easier, and only took me about ten minutes each. The blinds themselves are great quality and are very easy to raise and lower. Just take your time with the instructions, and maybe use your own screws if you have to drill into anything other than drywall.

I read the reviews and took the chance and ordered the shades. Installation time, including removing the old blinds, approximately 45 minutes. Some other reviewers mentioned the screws. I do have to admit, if you are hanging them from the ceiling or inside the top of the window frame, you will want to get smaller head screws so the shades can "snap in" to the mounts easier. My old blinds had smaller screws, so I reused a few of those. The supplied screws are not high quality, I broke a head off one after predrilling a pilot hole. Not all was lost as there was enough broken screw sticking out to back out the broken screw with pliers. Other reviewers complained about wrinkles, well yes, they are wrinkled. If it bothered me enough, I would either steam them or iron them, I figure they will eventually straighten out. I am not sure about the "sheerness" star rating. I rated "sheerness" at 1 star because you really can not see through them and light does not come through either. The shades are a roll up type with a Roman shade front, these are cordless. I am very pleased and would consider buying more of these shades.

They are just what I was looking for. Pretty easy to install, I thought anyways. Very disappointed though that one of the shade was missing the COMPLETE hardware set!!!! Now I need to find one which is a pain.

Clearly well made and does exactly what I want it to do. Operating the shade is easy and without hassle. Knocking off a star because the instructions leave a bit to be desired (definitely watch some videos first, if you're a total novice like me), and, more importantly, because the screws they send only work with the bracket if you're doing a wall (outside) mount. If you're doing a ceiling (inside) mount, the screws heads are too large and interfere with the click-in spring mechanism attaching the shade to the brackets. I ended up using my own longer screws, this way they didn't need to go up all the way and could give the bracket's springs the room they needed to attach the shade.

Without the ability to countersink the screws, the supplied flat head hardware isn’t really the best choice. Screws are also a little large to fit with the ceiling mount option and still use the quite nice mechanism of attachment to the shades. We did a ceiling mount install and definitely had to force the mechanism to work so we gave it a low rating for ease of install. Overall nice product but definite room to improve for installation.
